Choose One Of These Images To Unpack In Your Writer’s Notebook.

Community Images Of Art, Melbourne.

Mrs Joyce will print these four images off for you to use as a seed in your notebook. Think about the image, what is the message being portrayed? Unpack your thoughts about experiencing these images in Melbourne and how it felt to be right in front of them? Did you have any reason to be scared? How does the Graffiti art fit into out thoughts about Cultural Australia?

I love art. I think when it says there’s no reason to be scared I think that the art that it was writen on i think it’s saying that if your scared what are you scared for. So it means if your scared try stand up to your fear then there will be no reason to be scared. I think the old man was a dad or he could of saved someones life. I’ve learnt that grafitti is art if they have permission to grafitti that wall or so on.

Shan Shan was delighted to come with us. I was too. As you can see in my name, I am so tired from last night. Whooo that gave me a workout. But atleast I got to see some amazing stuff that I never new about Australia.
I loveeeeee art too. These paintings were so inspiring to me because each painting tells a story and that story could lead anywhere. I can see the girl has a worried and shy facial expression that gives you kinda an idea of what that paintings about. Just the way they painted it could say all. Its just fascinating.
The Jappanesse lady didnt look chinese to me. The girl is holding an umberrella and that is cultiral for jappanesse people. Japan has cherry blossom flowers and the Bhudah I think.

I found the last two photos very inspiering because it says dont be scared and the other one can represent anything like if she was in a ally way at night where it was dark and she was alone. I think Shan Shan and lucky both really enjoyed the trip to Melbourne. It gave me a big workout. We did so much walking that day. When we went to china town I think Shan Shan felt at home because there was all Chinese things around. In Chinatown there was a lot of graffiti and it was very insperational. The Jappanesse lady didnt look chinese to me. The girl is holding an umberrella and that is cultiral for jappanesse people. Japan has cherry blossom flowers and the Bhudah I think. The confushis man looked like a man off a band that I know (gorillas). I love art in any shape colour and forms it is so beautiful. I would love to see some more graffiti soon.

That graffiti was the best graffiti I have ever seen, I say people do it to express themselves to show people that they can make amazing masterpieces out of nothing but a few spray cans. Since I lived near Melbourne when I was young I would mostly go to Melbourne and while I would be there I would mostly see wonderful sights of marvellous graffiti expressed from others who are not afraid to show what they can make into straight out fantastic art work and let it stay for years to come for millions of people to walk by and see the amazing sight of art and have been taken pictures from millions of people and have showed others everywhere to come see the marvellous sight. So that is my opinion about graffiti and I hope I scores me the prize. Bye πŸ™‚

The graffiti was magnificant! The detail and the texture in all of the paintings was amazing. I wondered though where they got there ideas from. Maybe, from past experiences in there lifes encourages them to paint about it.

Thanks Rennae! πŸ™‚ Oh, one last thing, can I make one and print it out and put it in my writers notebook with the word graffiti in graffiti? I can write all of the things I like and dislike about graffiti. Oh and what I think.
