Wind Farming in our local area

Wind Farming

Last weekend Mrs Joyce coached basketball and Kayleigh played basketball at the Foster Basketball Tournament. On our way we could see the Wind Farms. Kayleigh’s family took photos to show what Wind Farms look like.

Look at how big they are. They look like a giant windmill. Kayleigh were they noisey or quiet? Where are these wind farms? Kayleigh did you know that . A large wind farm may consist of several hundred individual wind turbines, and cover an extended area of hundreds of square miles, but the land between the turbines may be used for agricultural or other purposes. A wind farm may also be located offshore. 700 of those giant wind turbines imagine how big the land would have to be. I would like to go and see a wind farm and find out how it works. I have no idea on how it works .😯😧
