Horrible Harriet by Leigh Hobbs – Open Minded Portrait

Today you are going to be Harriet, we are going to analyse the story and the different parts and see if you can write from Harriets point of view.

About the Story

Harriet can’t be that horrible…or can she?

Perhaps you should be the judge of that.  Join reader John Higginson as he explores Harriet’s misguided world of mayhem and meanness.  The children don’t like to play with her – and who can blame them? – but when a new student, Athol Egghead, gives her a new chance at first impressions, Harriet discovers that having a friend is marvellous.

The talents of author/illustrator Leigh Hobbs are something special…and a little bit cheeky indeed!
